摘 要: 按照柏拉图的《斐多》,获得知识首先意味着灵魂自身的净化,其次意味着灵魂对于纯粹实在或诸理念的回忆,最后意味着借助"假设法"或命题推演的方法而不是借助经验观察来探究实在。本文从这三个方面阐释了《斐多》中关于知识之获得的论述,从而说明柏拉图在写作这篇对话录之时关于认知和知识所持有的基本思想。本文同时还反驳了陈康的一个主张,即《斐多》提及了比"思维"更高级的所谓"理念直观"。 Acquiring knowledge,according to Plato's Phaedo,implys three aspects:1)the purification of the soul,2)the recollection of the intelligible Forms,and 3)the investigation of reality by the method of hypothesis instead of empirical observation.This article studies these aspects successively,and takes the endeavor to explain Plato's views about cognition and knowledge appeared in this dialogue.In addition,the author brings forward an argument to refute Chen Chung-hwan's interpretation which Plato shows in Phaedo that there is a mode of cognition higher than thinking or reasoning which might be called the Ideenschau or the direct vision of the Forms.
