摘　　要： 马克思主义社会形态理论是马克思将其哲学运用于社会历史领域结出的理论硕果,是我们观察世界历史、分析现实社会的强大思想武器。改革开放以来,史学界和理论界普遍存在不同程度地淡化乃至否定马克思主义社会形态理论的现象,也存在借否定社会形态理论否定党的历史,否定中华人民共和国成立以来历史和社会主义存在合法性的现象,对此我们既要高度警惕,也要一分为二地区别对待。当前,坚持社会形态理论要注意克服两种倾向:一是脱离马克思主义经典作家的原始表述,抓不住社会形态理论的核心和精髓,造成矮化社会形态理论,将其局限于五种社会形态说等具体结论并奉为圭臬的倾向;二是脱离社会实践和现实,造成社会形态理论在分析当今时代和中国现实时失语失声的倾向。用社会形态理论分析当代中国社会,可知当今中国仍处于向共产主义过渡的社会主义初级阶段,但代表新生产力的新知识群体,将是中国引领未来世界潮流的希望所在。 Marxist theory of social formation is the fruitful theoretical result of Marx’s application of his philosophy to the social and historical fields and is a strong ideological weapon for us to observe the world history and analyze the practical society.Since the reform and opening-up,among historians and in the theoretical circles,there has been a widespread phenomenon of weakening or even negating Marxist theory of social formation to some degree and there has also been a phenomenon of negating the Party history and the legitimacy of socialism after the founding of the People’s Republic of China by denying the theory of social formation.We should both maintain active vigilance against the phenomena and make a distinction and a differential treatment between the two.At present,we should pay attention to overcoming two tendencies when sticking to the theory of social formation:one is tendency of downgrading the theory of social formation,limiting it to five kinds of social morphology and regarding some specific conclusions as the standard theory because of breaking away from the original description by classical Marxist writers and failing to grasp the core and essence of the theory of social formation;the other is the tendency of aphasia of the theory of social formation when analyzing the present era and Chinese reality caused by the isolation from social practice and reality.By using the theory of social formation to analyze contemporary Chinese society,we may know that China today is still at the primary stage of socialism in the transition to communism.But the new intellectual group on behalf of new productive forces will be the hope that China leads the future world.
