摘　　要： 明中叶以后乡约的大量出现与当时社会所发生的剧烈变动密切相关。吉安府的士绅们都寄望于通过乡约来建立和睦、融洽的乡里制度 ,并努力在地方倡导与实施。乡约的实行为社区治理提供了一个可能 。 The emergence of covenant of the post mid-Ming Dynasty was closely connected with the violently socio-transition. Ji'an gentry made great efforts to promote and apply covenant in the local society. they wanted to establish a harmonious system in the countryside. The applying of covenant not only provided a probability to the community regulation', but also became an extremely tool for the implementation of social control and Confucian educational transformation.
