摘 要: 为了验证反讽交际认知与理解理论假设的心理现实性,人们做了大量的实验研究,试图寻找实验数据佐证其语用认知心理过程,揭示其语用认知规律和语用认知特征,实验检测的内容包括反讽理解的能力、反讽理解的心理过程以及哪些因素影响反讽理解。结果显示,具备辨别非字面话语的一般认知能力是对反讽做出正确理解的必要基础,至于影响反讽理解的因素以及反讽理解的心理过程,目前没有一致结论。 Scholars have done quite a lot of studies on human's recognition and understanding in ironic communication and proposed a number of theoretical hypotheses to account for the psycho-cognitive process involved in ironic communication with an attempt to reveal the pragma-cognitive principle and characteristics of irony understanding. Whether one hypothesis is more powerful in accounting for irony understanding and therefore superior to the other hypotheses, crucial to all of them is whether they can survive the test results of experiments.This study aims to analyze the experimental researches in the 20^th century on children's and adults' irony understanding. As revealed by the data, the general cognitive competence to distinguish nonliteral utterance proved to be fundamental to the proper understanding of irony. As for what factors influence irony understanding and whether the mental process of irony understanding is one-step or two-step, there is no unanimous conclusion.
