摘　　要： 纳尔逊-阿特金斯艺术博物馆扩建项目是斯蒂文·霍尔最为成熟的作品之一,他的建筑现象学的设计思想蕴含其中。他以＂都市缝隙＂的设计手法处理环境关系,并将＂光＂作为一种物质材料来表现建筑内在、诗意的品质,强调了对多重感官体验的重视,体现了＂本质直观＂这一现象学的重要命题。 Architect Steven Holl＇s extension project of Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is one of his most important work in recent years.It fully reflects the phenomenology of his architectural design theory. The ＂urban porosity＂ is one of his most important approaches to handle the relationship between the environment and buildings.He looks upon the light as a matter of material to show internal construction and poetic quality,whilst emphasizing the importance of multi-sensory experiences and achieving the concept of intuition of essence,an important phenomenological proposition.
