摘　　要： 近年来,我国博士生招生规模的持续扩张引致社会各界对博士生培养质量及就业问题的广泛关注。美国博士生教育的发展历程中也遭遇了同样的困境。在此境况下,美国国家科学基金会推行了“综合性研究生教育与研究训练”项目,在科学、技术、工程、数学领域创造一种新的博士生培养“范式”。美国大学在该项目的推动下,着重培养博士生的“六维”跨学科能力,并构建了完善的跨学科能力培养机制。 Abstract：In recent years, the continuous expansion of enrollment of doctoral students in China has raised widespread concern from the society about the quality of doctoral training and employment is- sues. The development of doctoral education in the United States also encountered the same dilemma. Under this context, the National Science Foundation carries out an ＂Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship＂ Project, which creates a new ＂paradigm＂ of Ph. D. cultivation in the field of sci- ence, technology, engineering and mathematics. Through promoting this project, American universi- ties has focused on cultivating interdisciplinary competencics of doctoral students in six dimensions, and has built up a sound mechanism for interdisciplinary training.
