摘 要: 与广播媒介比较而言,报刊的比较优势在于其目标读者、市场和内容的细分化。在众多的英文报刊中,读者如何识别不同定位的英文报刊的目标读者,就成为全球化时代中国读者的一个突出问题。本文从Logo、标题和版面标识,报刊诉求目标读者的策略,创造“预设”读者价值观体系等三个层面论述了如何识别英文报刊目标读者的话题。 Compared with broadcasting, newspapers and periodicals have relative advantages concerning the subsections of target readers, markets and contents. In English newspapers and periodicals, how to position the target readers becomes an outstanding issue for Chinese readers in the years of globalization. This paper, from the perspectives of the logo, the headings and layout of newspapers together with the strategies of attracting the target readers and setting up a value system for the potential readers, studies how to identify the target readers of English newspapers and periodicals.
