摘　　要： 民国初年，欧美新闻家访华引导汪荚宾、赵敏恒等中国报人赴美留学，促进了中国报人参与世界报界大会和新闻活动，进而引导更多的欧美新闻家考察中国报业，为中国新闻学系的创建提供了参照，增强了中国报人的新闻专业主义意识，培育了其跨中西文化的特质，提高了其社会地位。而欧美新闻家访华的影响因素共同推动了中国报业的专业化、现代化和新闻教育的发展。 During the early years of National Republic of China, European and American joumalists and scholars visited China consecutively. Their visits to China caused the Chinese newspapermen like Y. P. Wang and Thomas Ming-heng to study journalism abroad in America, the U.K. or Japan. This prompted the Chinese newspapermen to participate in the World Press Congress and journalistic activities. As a result, more European or American journalists and scholars came to China to help es- tablish journalism schools, strengthen journalistic professionalism, cultivate their cross-culture characteristics and promote their social status, thus propelling the development of China＇ s journalism and journalistic education.
