摘　　要： 基于认知情态和模糊调和语语义上的相容性，提出了认知情态类模糊调和语这一暂时性概念。对科技语篇中的认知情态类模糊调和语的语言体现形式、使用频率、使用动因和使用特征的研究表明这类模糊调和语在科技语篇中是一种多功能、多语用的语篇策略，只有参照科学语境下的认知、社会文化、机构和人际方面以及具体的上下文等局部特征才能对其有全面的了解。 Based on semantic compatibility between epistemic modality and hedges, this paper has put forwards the working concept of epistemic--modality--type hedges. Descriptive and empirical account of hedges in terms of their linguistic realization, distribution, motivation and features has demonstrated that this type of hedges is a multifunctional and polypragmatic textual strategy, of which the comprehensive understanding is realized by attending to the cognitive, social --cultural, institutional and inter--personal aspects and other specific co--text features of the scientific contexts.
