摘　　要： 加拿大英语是英语的一种变体。但是加拿大自身的历史、社会文化和自然环境等因素对加拿大英语有着深刻的影响;同时,加拿大英语也反映了该国文化特征。文章通过分析加拿大英语及其折射的文化说明加拿大独有的文化特征——以英、法裔加拿大人文化为主流,善于包容和吸纳其他民族的文化因素,创造和谐社会。 Canadian English is one of the variants of English. However Canadian historical, social and regional factors have great influence on English language, meanwhile Canadian English also reflects some features of Canadian culture. By analyzing the origin and development of Canadian English and the multi-culture embodied in it, this paper aims to demonstrate the unique cultural feature in Canada ——based on British and French culture as their mainstream culture, Canadians are good at the acceptance and absorption of cultural elements from other nationalities to build up the harmonious society.
