摘　　要： 中山大学图书馆依据本馆的西文古籍馆藏情况，参照国外西文古籍编目的经验，将现有的西文编目标准与图书馆每一单册的实际情况相结合，既通过美国机读目录（USMARC）的标准格式对文献的基本信息进行描述，实现资源共享，又通过本馆的自定义字段深度揭示每一单册的来源、装帧、需修复程度等详细情形，凸显文献本身的现状和价值。 According to the collection of western language ancient books, referring to the cataloging experience of western language ancient books abroad, Sun Yat-sen University Libraries has attempted to combine these existing cataloging rules of western language ancient books with actual conditions of every single volume, has described the basic information of documents through the standard format of United States Machine Readable Cataloging （USMARC）, in order to realize the resource sharing; has revealed deeply two fields are defined to reveal detailed situations of the provenance, binding and treatment of every item with fields of every single volume, in order to highlight its status and value.
