摘 要: 短文听写作为听写的一种主要类型,是一种有效的外语教学评估手段,在英语专业四级考试(TEM4)中占有重要地位。对48名英语专业二年级学生进行了短文听写与内容图式(即背景知识)的实验性研究,结果表明背景知识熟悉度与TEM4短文听写结果有密切联系:背景知识越熟悉,听者头脑中相关图式被激活的概率越大,短文听写的正确率越高;反之亦然。图式理论的重要作用为提高TEM4短文听写成绩带来一些启示:除了要培养扎实的语言基本功和熟练的语言运用能力外,还要注重背景知识的积累以及图式理论在听写过程中的运用。 Passage dictation is an effective means of FL teaching evaluation and it plays a vital role in the Test for English Major, Grade 4 (TEM4). The author carried out an experiment on the second--year English majors who were preparing for TEM4. The results of the experiment reveal that the familiarity of the testing items poses a great influence on the passage dictation. This paper, in the view of schema theory, which is an important concept in cognitive psychology,attempts to analyze and assess the function of schema theory in the passage dictation, and puts forward some suggestions on the teaching of passage dictation.
