嵌入式远程终端单元的研究与设计

摘  要: 随着电子、通信、计算机等技术的不断发展,远程终端单元/(Remote Terminal Unit,简称RTU/)在水利、自来水、供电、石油、交通等行业的应用越来越多,并且发挥着重要的作用,对RTU的要求也日益升高。因此,应用先进的技术,开发具有较高灵活性和适应性的RTU设备很有必要/[1/]。 本论文介绍了RTU的现状和发展趋势,针对现有RTU功能单一、通信方式少、缺乏灵活性等不足,结合嵌入式微处理器和嵌入式操作系统的发展以及在控制领域的应用,提出了一种基于ARM9和嵌入式Linux的多功能、高性能的RTU设计方案。在总体设计中,根据RTU的功能要求选择S3C2440微处理器作为硬件平台,软件平台采用嵌入式Linux操作系统。 硬件设计中,对电路进行了分模块设计。主要包括数据采集、电源管理、多种通信方式、存储模块和其它电路的设计。数据采集部分,对开关量输入输出接口电路进行了设计。电源管理部分不仅设计了系统电源,为了降低系统功耗,设计了控制外围电路供电的电路,当有些外围电路不工作时,切断供电电源。通信模块设计中,为了满足多种通讯方式设计了CAN总线、RS232、RS485、以太网以及GPRS,其中还可以通过接口连接短波电台、MODEM以及GSM模块。存储模块设计中,为了满足RTU的要求,进行了扩展的Flash以及SDRAM接口电路设计。 软件设计中,主要分为嵌入式Linux操作系统的移植和应用程序设计。论文中,简要介绍了操作系统的移植,以及CAN总线驱动程序的设计。在应用程序中对主程序以及各个软件模块进行了研究与设计。 结尾部分对本设计进行了总结与展望。 With the development of electronics, communications and computers, Remote Terminal Unit /(Abbreviation:RTU/) is widely used in the water, electricity, petroleum, transportation and other industries applications.The function and performance of the RTU needs to be improved.Therefore, it is necessary to develop the flexible and adaptive RTU based on the application of advanced technology /[1/]. In this paper the current situation and development trend of RTU is introduced.Because of the disadvantages of traditional RTU,such as single function ,simplex communication and inflexibility, combined with embedded microprocessors and embedded operating system development and application in the control area, the design of high performance and multi-purpose RTU is put forward based on the Embedded Linux and ARM9.According to the functional requirements of RTU, S3C2440 microprocessor is chosen as the hardware platform,while embedded Linux operating system is used as the software platform. In this paper, it is designed based on the sub-module in the design of hardware.There are some modules, including data acquisition, power management, communication, storage modules and other circuits.Digital input and output interface is designed in the part of data acquisition. Some power management system is designed not only to supply power, but also to reduce system power consumption.When some of the external circuits do not work, it needs to cut off the power supply by the power control circuit. In order to meet a variety of communications more communications were designed, such as CAN bus, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, GPRS, shortwave radio, MODEM and GSM. In Memory module the Flash and SDRAM interface circuit is designed to meet the more requirements. Software design consists of porting the operating system and developing application.In this paper, porting the operating system and application have been studied. At the end of this paper, the design is summarized and the future research is put forward.
