摘　　要： 学衡派在“五四”时期是一个有着独立品格的文化团体,它对“新文化”建设的作用曾长期被学界所误解甚至忽视。新文化运动之所以能够产生如此深远的影响,其实并不只是新文学倡导者一枝独秀的结果,很大程度上也是在各个社团、流派的相互制约、相互砥砺的作用下产生的。只有通过这种“多维合力”的作用,才能保证文学和文化发展的丰富性和多样性。在“五四”时期,当新文学倡导者占据社会和文化的主流地位时,其他处于边缘地位的社团和流派对他们更多的是起到制衡的作用,学衡派就是其中一个典型的代表。事实上,学衡派虽在表面上是以异质于主流的形式出现,但他们也和新文学倡导者一样,在思考和探寻着中国社会和文化的发展命运和前进方向。因而,学衡派与新文化运动关系并不是完全对立的,而是具有一种的制衡的意义,并且它的理论体系和文化主张应视为有益于新文化运动健康发展的精神养分。本文从梳理学界对学衡派与新文化运动关系的研究成果出发,拟通过对学衡派的语言观、文化价值观和文化理想这三个与新文化运动关系的联接点的考究,从而更加全面、客观地评价学衡派和新文化运动之间的关系,以求对当前学衡派研究有所推进与匡正。 As an independent cultural society,the effect of the Xueheng/(Academic Balance/) School to the foundation of 'New Literature' has long been misunderstand,even neglected by the academe.The New Culture Movement has made a great difference.The reason is that not only the New Literature Advocators single-handed,actually to a great degree,it was effected by the mutual restraint and condition between different societies and schools.Only by this multiple cooperation can literature and culture develop in abundance and diversity way. During 'the May 4th',when the New Literature Advocators dominated the whole society, other marginalized schools and societies played a constraint and condition role,and the Xueheng/(Academic Balance/) School is the typical example of them.Although Xueheng /(Academic Balance/) School appeared in a special form from literature mainstream,it has been considering and exploring the direction and the destination of China society and culture development as well.Hence,it can not say that the New Culture Movement and Xueheng School are totally in opposition,while these two can balance each other well,besides,its theoretical system and culture proposition should be considered as the spirit nutrient for the New Culture Movement.This thesis starts from summing up the former research works of Xueheng School and the New Culture Movement,attempting to observe and study the relationships among the Xueheng School's lingual view,the culture value and the New Culture Movement.Therefore assess the relationship between Xueheng School and the New Culture Movement comprehensively and objectively,in order to improve and correct the present research on Xueheng School.
