摘　　要： 随着大众媒介时代的到来，文学与媒介之间的种种关系就成为当今文艺界学者们研究的新领域，探索文学与媒介之间的关系为某种文体的产生、形成、发展机制提供了别一种诠释视角。本文正是基于此，以小说这一文体形式作为切入点，以《小说月报》/(1910—1932/)这一报刊媒介作为具体研究的文本，来探索小说成长过程中的外在制约性因素。 研究结果表明：影响小说的外在因素虽然甚多，但媒介/(尤其是纸质的报刊媒介/)是其中颇为重要的一个，它/(们/)对于小说文体的演变起到了推波助澜的作用。在现代化的信息技术并没有高速发展之前，传统的媒介形式/(如报纸、期刊、图书等/)就是传达文学信息的最重要的方式，小说从“街谈巷语”的“小道”到文坛中心的“大道”，是媒介宣传鼓动的结果；二十世纪初小说的风靡，是印刷业发达、报刊业繁盛的结果；现代小说文体的建构与形成，亦是以《小说月报》等报刊媒介为平台，将作家、读者、文学论战等融为一体后而产生的结果。媒介不断驱使小说文体形态走向完善，小说的发展又在时时呼唤新的媒介形式的诞生，二者的关联将永远成为学者不断研究、不断诠释的焦点。 With the coming era of mass media, the relationship between literature and media provides scholars of literature circle a new field of study. The exploring of the relationship between literature and media offers a new explanation for the appearing, forming and developing of certain literature style. Based on this, this thesis explores the external factors restricting the shaping processes of novels by studying stories in Novel Monthly/(1910-1932/). The study shows that media, especially paper media, is relatively important in the many external factors that influence the shaping of novels. They promote the outcome of novels. Traditional media, such as newspapers, periodicals, books, are the most important means of conveying literature information before the high-speeding developing of modern information technology. Novel's developing from street talks to an important literature style in the center of the literature world is the result of media agitprop; the popularity of novels in early twenties century results from the development of publishing and the prosperity of the press; and the appearing and shaping of modern novels is the result of integrating writers, readers and literature controversies together, using such press media as Novel Monthly as its platform. The media drive novels to perfection, and the development of novels arouses the birth of new forms of media, their interaction will forever be the focus of study and explanation.
