摘　　要： 土地利用及其时空结构演变是一个相当复杂的现象与过程，它不仅是一种空间概念上的表达，而且还是时间序列上的演绎；它强调通过对于复杂土地利用地学现象的空间与时间上的综合表达和描述，来揭示土地利用时空结构现象演变的内在规律，因此已引起了目前国际学术界的广泛重视。已有不少类似的研究着力于通过建立空间数学模型来探讨土地利用的时空结构演变。但至今为止，真正将土地利用变化与其时空分布相结合，比较全面和系统的应用GIS的空间信息分析技术动态地模拟土地利用现状的空间形态和历史变迁的演变过程，从而对城市土地利用时空结构演变规律性的研究还并不多见，这正是这篇博士论文需要研究的核心内容。 本文首先从城市土地利用和GIS、RS等空间信息技术的基本理论出发，在明确了土地利用时空结构演变的空间涵义的基础上，引入了空间意象思维及其地理景观的概念，而正是由于空间意象的存在，使得地理空间概念计算模型的建立成为可能。本文以广州市海珠区土地利用空间结构在不同时间段上所表现出来的特征和差异为例，应用GIS技术对城市区域尤其是城市边缘区的土地利用进行了比较全面、系统和深入的空间定量和定性分析研究，从而进一步认识和分析我国在快速城市化进程中城市土地利用时空结构演变的规律和存在的问题。并针对这些问题，提出协调和解决它们的对策和建议。 本文的研究特色主要体现在：通过引入城市土地利用的基本理论、空间意象思维及其地理景观的概念、GIS的基本理论和技术方法的基础上，在实验区数据比较完备的情况下，总结出了一套科学合理、既准确又高效的城市土地利用时空结构演变规律的基本研究方法，并重点讨论和研究了空间数据的预� Land-use and its spatio-temporal structure evolution is a fairly complex phenomenon and process. It is not only an expressiveness of spatial conception, but also a series of times evolution. It reveals inherent law of land-use and its spatio-temporal structure evolution by synthetically expressing and describing for complex geographic phenomena of land-use in space and time. Therefore, at present, it has been given rise to lay stress widely on international academic circles. A lot of research results about land-use spatio-temporal structure evolution have been obtained by setting up spatial mathematic models. But so far, it is very seldom to research evolution law of land-use spatio-temporal structure by applied spatial information analysis technology of GIS, truly combining land-use change with its spatio-temporal distribution, overall and systematically simulating current situation of land-use and evolution process of spatial pattern and historic change. This is the key contents of my Dr. Degree's Thesis. This paper is drawn into the conception of spatial image thinking and geographic landscape based on theories of urban land-use and GIS, RS spatial information technology, after defining the spatial implication of the urban land-use spatio-temporal structural evolution. It is possible to set up mathematic models of geographic spatial conception that is reappearing of the spatial image. This paper takes characteristic and difference of spatial structure of land-use in different period of times in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou City as an example to go deep into carrying out quantitative and qualitative research of the municipalities of the city, especially the urban marginal districts using GIS technology. In this way, we can research developing regularity and analyze the problems of spatio-temporal structural evolution appearing during the high-speed urbanization, specially, urban marginal districts of our country so that we can bring forward some countermeasures and suggestions to harmonize the urba
