汉英带稿同传中的句法差异及应对策略

摘  要: 同声传译根据工作方式的不同可以分为无稿同传和带稿同传。带稿同传即指译员一边听取讲话者的原语产出,一边看稿,一边进行同声传译。 在这篇实践报告中,作者讨论了他在“新广州新商机”2013年健康医疗综合体推介会上的口译实践经历。这篇实践报告真实、详细地描述了口译实践的全过程。在参阅了相关文献的基础上,作者对此次带稿同传中所遇到的最突出的问题——汉英句法差异——进行了案例分析。分析过后,作者提出了他应对这些差异所采用的策略,即,添加主语和逻辑连接词、定语后置以及信息焦点前置。最后,作者对全文进行了总结。 作者希望借这篇实践报告让读者对带稿同传有一个更加客观、更加准确的认识。此外,作者也希望这篇实践报告能在处理汉英句法差异问题方面对其他译员有一定的裨益并有助于他们在日后的口译实践中提高口译的质量。 Based on the differences in working mode, simultaneous interpreting /(SI/) can befurther divided into simultaneous interpreting with text and simultaneous interpretingwithout text. In SI with text, interpreters interpret simultaneously while listening tothe speakers’ real-time source language output and, at the same time, referring to thewritten speech scripts. In this practice report, the author discusses his interpreting experience at the“New Guangzhou· New Business”2013Promotion Seminar for Healthcare andMedical Service Complex. The practice report describes the whole process of theinterpreting task accurately and elaborately. On the basis of having had read relevantliterature, the author undertakes case analyses of the most prominent--problems hewas confronted with in this simultaneous-interpreting-with-text task, that is, thesyntactical differences of Chinese and English. After the analyses, the author putsforward his suggested coping tactics to handle these differences, which are addingsubjects and logical connectives, postponing the attributes and fronting theinformation focus. In the last chapter, the author draws the discussion to a naturalconclusion. In completing this practice report, the author bears the hope of presenting a moreobjective and precise picture of SI with text to his readers. Moreover, the author alsohopes that this practice report can be of some use to other interpreters in terms ofdealing with the syntactical differences of Chinese and English and further helpingenhance the quality of interpreting in their future practices.
