摘 要: 对外汉语教材中生词外文释义是教材不可缺少的一部分,而英语作为全球通用的语言,是对外汉语教材选择外文释义的首选。但由于英汉两种语言在词汇语义对应方面的复杂性以及在语用,语法等方面的差异,对外汉语教材生词英文释义存在着不同程度的问题。笔者认为这一问题通过认真研究、仔细释义,大部分是可以避免的。鉴于此,笔者对《汉语教程》(修订版)一至三册生词表的英文释义逐条考察分析,并对出现的问题加以分类,做出合理的解释和修改,以期为今后的对外汉语教学做出贡献,也为对外汉语教材编写者提供借鉴。 The translation and explanation of vocabulary is an integral part in Chineseteaching textbooks. As a global language, English is preferred in foreign languagetranslation. However, due to differences between English and Chinese in terms oflexical semantic complexity and language usage, grammar and other aspects, there aredifferent degrees of problems in vocabulary translation in Chinese teaching textbook.The author thinks most of these problems are avoidable through careful search anddetailed translation. In view of this, the author makes a systematic analysis of thetranslation in Chinese teaching textbook series of Chinese Course from one to three.Besides of this, this paper also makes classification of those problems, and gives areasonable explanation and modification, hopes that it could make some contributionsfor Chinese teaching and provides references for Chinese teaching textbook writers.
