摘　　要： 韩寒的作品拥有大批的年轻读者，其作品具有强烈幽默性与讽刺效果。他在文学创作者表现出的叛逆性，给他赢得了“在中国引起全民热议的青少年”。他的作品销量巨大，社会影响力，尤其是在影响中国青少年一代，也是有目共睹。本文作者尝试翻译他的作品，以介绍其作品给英语读者。在翻阅了韩寒的作品，博客和评论之后，作者了解了关于他思想方面的第一手信息。为了展现作者翻译的轮廓与细节，作者详尽阐述了幽默，讽刺和背后的动机。为了让人明白作者的翻译，作者选用了关联理论，以解释其关联性。本文意在论述如何运用关联理论再现幽默与讽刺效果。 为了更好地重现幽默与讽刺，作者选取了书的开头部分。整个翻译过程是在严复的“信，达，雅”的翻译原则的指导标准下操作的。论及具体的翻译策略时，本文优先选取了归化。 本文报告分为五个部分，任务描述，过程描述，文本分析，案例分析和结论。在文本分析部分，作者拟从原文如何展现幽默和讽刺进行讨论。通过本报告，作者意在说明翻译过程中的应考虑不明确的指向-线索，推测作者交际意图，并理解作者意图。语境在文本分析，理解和翻译原文时尤为重要。 Han Han /(韩寒/) is a literary sensation, a rebel, and “perhaps the teenager whohas stirred the greatest controversy in China”. He is welcomed by young readers whoare attracted by his humor and ironic tone in his writing. As a bestseller, he hasgreatly influenced the young generations. The writer has involved himself in readingHan Han’s writings including his books, blogs and reviews to get the first-handinformation on his thoughts. Basing the study on that, the writer has a close scrutinyon what he writes about and how he conveys his thoughts. To reveal the outline anddetails of the translation, the writer tries his best to throw light on humor, irony andthe motives behind. To make the translation understood, the writer turns to relevanceto explain how irony and humor can be reproduced to a lager extent. The report isdesignated to illuminate how relevance is applied to and why relevance is connectedto the study of humor and irony. The writer has chosen the first part of the book. The whole process of translationwas carried on under the guidance of Yan Fu’s translation principles—“Faithfulness,Expressiveness, Elegance”. Domestication is the first priority when it comes to thespecific translation strategy. The report consists of five parts, namely task description, process description,text analysis, case analysis and conclusion. In the text analysis, the writer discusseshow humor and irony are presented. Through the report, the writer aims to stress thatthe translation should take into account implicit references-clues, surmise the author’sintention to communicate and interpret the clues to the author’s intention. The contextis of prime importance in analyzing the cases, understanding and translating theoriginal work.
