摘　　要： 随着世界经济全球化和金融一体化的推进，商业银行实行国际化战略也成为必然趋势。经济全球化既给各国商业银行带来了广大的市场机遇，也使银行业面临更为激烈和复杂的竞争环境。为了不断发展和壮大自身实力，应对来自全球的竞争，商业银行应该积极实行国际化战略，利用全球资源扩展自己的实力。 在我国商业银行的国际化进程中，中国工商银行是国际化的先行者，其发展历程中具有很多值得借鉴的经验。因此本文选取中国工商银行作为研究对象，回顾其30年的海外发展历程，分析其海外发展现状，本文通过利用中国工商银行与国际知名银行以及国内同业银行国际化程度的对比，总结中国工商银行在国际化过程中的成功与不足之处，并针对其国际化过程中存在的问题提出建议和对策。 本文首先对商业银行的经营环境进行分析，从国内经营环境和国际经济环境两个角度进行阐述，说明我国商业银行进行国际化发展的必要性和可行性。然后在介绍我国商业银行国际化发展历史背景的基础上，分析中国工商银行进行国际化发展的历程。本文将工商银行的国际化发展历程分为三个阶段，从国际化程度、财务效应以及战略布局效应三个方面分析其取得的成就和存在的不足。进一步，文章对中国工商银行能够在国际化发展方面后来居上的原因进行分析总结，本文认为，中国工商银行能够顺利推进国际化的原因有三点，第一是工商银行改制和上市为其提供了充足的资金，第二是工商银行制定并执行清晰的国际化战略，第三是工商银行致力打造的一体化科技平台极大提高了运行效率。最后，针对中国工商银行仍然存在着国际化程度低以及缺乏核心优势产品等问题，本文提出工商银行应该利用人民币国际化带来的机遇、打造核心业务等建议。 With the advancing of globalization of the world economy and financial integration,the commercial banks implementing the international strategy has become aninevitable trend. On one hand，economic globalization brought the great marketopportunity to commercial banks, On the other hand, the banking industry is facingmore intense and complex competitive environment. In order to continue to developand enhance their strength to cope with the competition from all over the world, thecommercial banks should pursue the internationalization strategy actively, so as touset the global resources to expand their strength. In the process of internationalization of China's commercial banks, the Industrial andCommercial Bank of China is an international pioneer. In the whole course of itsdevelopment, there is a lot to learn from the experience. In this paper, we selectIndustrial and Commercial Bank of China as the research object, recalling its20yearsof overseas development history, analyze the status of its overseas development. Thispaper through comparing the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China andinternational well-known banks as well as domestic commercial bank’sinternationalization degree, summarize the Industrial and Commercial Bank ofChina’s success and shortcomings in the process of internationalization, and putforward suggestions and countermeasures to its further internationalization process. Firstly, this paper describes the business environment of commercial banks in China.Then, after introducing China's commercial banks’ international developmenthistorical background, I divided the development process of ICBC into three stagesand analyzed its achievements and shortcomings form three aspects: the degree ofinternationalization, the financial effects, strategic layout effects. After then, thispaper summarized the reasons that why ICBC becoming so successful, the mostimportant three factors including the IPO of ICBC, its clear internationalizationstrategy and the One ICBC strategy. Finally, according the existing shortcoming ofICBC, this paper presents three proposals to solving these problems.
