摘　　要： 昆明市是云南省少数民族的重要聚居地，有着丰富的民族传统体育项目。传统节日和民族传统体育是昆明市这个民族地区悠久民族历史发展的产物，是民族传统文化的重要组成部分，它们之间存在着千丝万缕的联系，不可分割，并且它们均以其独特的地方色彩、淳厚的乡土气息备受关注，成为我国优秀的文化瑰宝。独特的地缘关系和经济方式，为昆明市民族传统体育活动构建了特有的支撑平台和运行环境；使人们扩大了文化交流，弘扬了民族精神，提高了体育技艺。 但是，近年来昆明市民族传统体育活动呈现一种逐渐衰落、乃至逐渐消失的趋势。这是一件非常令人担忧的事情。本文通过对这种现象的研究，找出导致民族传统体育活动逐渐衰落、乃至逐渐消失的原因，使民族传统体育项目再现辉煌。 Kunming is our province of minority important settlements，With rich traditional ethnicsports.
