摘　　要： 当今社会发展最快的技术之一莫过于网络了，而博客的出现和繁荣，真正凸现网络的知识价值，标志着互联网发展开始步入更高的阶段。近两年来，“博客”成为互联网上的流行语。这种借助互联网发展起来的新的形态，具有个性化、自由表达、真情流露的特性造就了与传统媒体不同的特性，也彰显了博客巨大的影响力和生命力。BLOG(博客)的出现，为教育方式提供了另一个可能。本文从介绍BLOG(博客)的兴起开始，结合地理教学的内容特点，探讨博客在地理探究式教学中的作用，以弥补当前传统教育的不足之处，使一些动态地理知识能够得到及时的更新，使学生能及时地了解最新的地理知识，这有利于培养学生对地理知识的学习兴趣，同时能促进学生的主动学习能力和信息处理能力的发展。 The rise of blogs on the internet and their wide popularity have proved to be of much value in airing views, spreading new modes of thinking and exchanging ideas on various topics. This paper attempts to explore ways as to how to make use of these effective media on the internet to improve teaching geography in schools. It is the author's belief that the proper use of blogs on the internet can help students to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of geographical science, update their knowledge, stimulate their study interest and promote their initiative to absorb new things, thus adding vigour and vitality to the teaching of the subject.
