摘　　要： 1921年的改革作为一道分水岭将《小说月报》的历史划分成了两段。改革前后的《小说月报》尽管在期刊范式和对读者接受的重视方面有许多传承的地方。但是,由刊载内容、文体以及主体队伍所构成的巨大差异表明,它们分属于两个不同的文学时期,具有着截然不同的传媒特征。 The 1921's reform in The Short Story Magazine marks a departure point that divided the history of the magazine into early and late periods. Evaluations of the relationship between the two periods remain changing against academic climate and research context. This study suggests that clarifying the relationship is not only a topic for research, but also a reflections of a macro-view regarding how to define the beginning of Modern Chinese Literature.
