摘　　要： 谭嗣同及其“仁学”的内涵,在近代精神史的背景上才能得到更恰切的把握;而近代精神发展至谭嗣同也才获得了其基本的形态。谭嗣同仁学的最大意义,就在于建构了一个独立而自觉的近代精神视域雏形。他的以心救心之术,首次以近代的方式提出了精神的课题并试图作出自己的解答。这一精神视域上承康有为,下启章太炎,进而为现代精神视域的建构作好了准备。 The meaning of Tan Sitong's Humanity Theory may be grasped more appropriately in the context of modern spiri- tual history. It was in Tan's thinking that the fundamental form of modern spirit was firstly established. The most significance of Tan may be the constitution of an embryonic form of modern spiritual horizon, through which the is- sue of spirit was put forward and solved in a modern way. Moreover, this spiritual horizon provided a basis for fur- ther development in the May 4th period and later.
