摘　　要： 古希腊自然哲学发展催生出本体论,本体论又促成了自然科学理论体系的形成,由此呈现出哲学和自然科学良性的互动发展态势。然而,两千多年后,自然科学发展日益昌盛,而本体论日渐式微,这种不平衡的发展格局导致了诸多社会问题。在当代,要发挥本体论引导人们智慧地生存、消解科学技术片面发展所带来的负面效应的功能,就必须克服传统本体论之缺陷,构建适合时代发展需要的本体论哲学。 The development of ancient Greek science (natural philosophy)brought about the ontology,while the ontology promoted the science(natural philosophy)to form systematic theory.Such relationship benefited both science(natural philosophy) and ontology.However,after more than two thousand years,the science is thriving and prosperous,while the ontology is declining.The unbalanced development of science and ontology leads to many troublesome problems.In the present age,if we want to bring ontology into full play in guiding humanity to live wisely and to decrease the negative effects of unilateral development of science,we should overcome the defects of traditional ontology and to build up new ontology that keeps up with time.
