摘　　要： "现代女性"莎菲的吊诡在于她是处于传统文化和现代文明的"过渡人"。她内心"威严指令"(做"正经女人")对她"本我"冲动(要"追求快乐")的压抑,驱使她的"人格面具"通货膨胀,导致了她的人格分裂。莎菲形象的独特意义就在于她昭示出:社会转型期觉醒青年遭遇的最大"仇敌"或痛苦"就是自己"。 As a “modern girl”,Ms. Shafei got into the trouble of how to keep balance between the traditional and modern cultures. The“superego”constrains the “id”,Shafei had to make her mask of character expanded,thus her character was split. The significance of Ms. Shafei lies in showing the readers that the most powerful enemy for young people during the time of cultural transformation is none other than themselves.
