摘　　要： 汽车排放的尾气中含有大量的氮氧化物、碳氢化合物和一氧化碳,对人体危害很大,而高效汽车尾气净化催化剂是实现车外净化、解决这一问题的关键。国外发达国家已广泛使用三效催化剂。介绍了汽车尾气净化催化剂的发展,阐述了稀土元素在汽车尾气净化催化剂中的应用,讨论了稀土氧化物作用机制及其影响,并对其发展前景进行了展望。 The exhaust gas of automobile contains a number of NO_x、HC and CO,which is very harmful to human body.In order to solve the pollution problem,the key point is the development of high effeciency catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas of automobile,the three-way catalyst is widely used for them in the developed countries.The development of catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas of automobile was introduced, and the application of rare earth in catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas of automobile was expatiated. The acting mechanism of rare earth oxides and its influencing factors in catalyst were discussed .The prospect for the development of rare earth in catalyst was also forecasted.
