摘　　要： 李鸿章是靠镇压江浙太平军起家的 ,但因李秀成说他是靠外国侵略者的帮助才做到这点的 ,这种说法影响了我们的历史研究。其实 ,李鸿章是发挥了自己的主观努力 ,采取了很多措施筹饷和购械 ,使他能够顺利地将淮军迅速建设成为一支精锐军队 ,因而能在很短的时间内镇压了江浙太平军。 LiHongzhang developed himself by supressing the Taiping′s army in the province of ZheJian and JianSu, but LiXiu Cheng said that he developed himeslf by the help of foreign aggressors. This ideal affected our history research. In fact Li HongZhang exerted his effort of subiectivity and took a lot of measuer. So that he could make the army in the province of HuaiHe turn into a picked army successfully. So he could supperss the Taiping′s army in the province of Zhe Jian and JianSu in a shot time.
