摘 要: 当前GIS广泛采用的空间数据模型不足以满足时态GIS发展的需要。该文探讨时态GIS所需的、可操作性时空数据模型,并且以土地利用和交通发展的时空相互作用为例,说明如何设计和实施相关的时空数据模型,用于支持发展时态GIS。 This paper draws a preliminary conclusion that the object-relational DBMS has been widely accepted by the GIS community for managing spatial data,its extension for managing spatio-temporal data thus far is regarded as one feasible method for the design and implementation of a spatio-temporal data model.The paper then exemplifies how interactions between land use and transportation is reflected into a conceptual framework with spatio-temporal data types and a knowledge-based perspective embedded and how the framework is implemented as a temporal GIS application to reveal patterns of interactions between land use and transportation over space across time.
