摘 要: 本文论述在网络技术辅助大学英语教学的条件下,教师在教学模式设计、促进交互机制、监控教学过程以及提供帮助方面的作用,论证设计大学英语主题教学模式的理由和以任务型方式实施该模式的网络辅助学习的过程和教师应起的作用,文中强调交互机制对英语习得的必要性以及教师利用网络工具促进交互式学习的方法;在设计在线教学系统监控学习过程和对个性各异的学生作个别帮助中,教师的作用较之传统教学也有许多独到之处。文中最后论述网络时代教师将接受的更大的挑战。 This paper aims at expounding the guiding function and practice the college English teacher should perform in the web-aided English learning environment in the three aspects as follows: the design of instruction model, directing and reinforcing the mechanism of interaction in the learning process and monitoring the process of learning and offering individual students help as well. A theme-based instructive model is brought forth to fit in with the web-based learning and two types of task-based methods are explained for conducting the instruction. The advantages of the teacher's functions in this web-aided instruction are explained as unique supplements to the traditional instruction. In conclusion the challenges for the teacher are mentioned.
