There are five titles going with Egyptian pharaohs, which are Horus name, nebty name(Two Ladies), Golden Horus name, prenomen and nomen. It is the Horus title that first appeared in the hieroglyphs of royal rituals early in 3000 BC. Egyptians believed there were two worlds existing side by side, this world we human beings lived in and the eternal world after life in which the gods dominated. Pharaohs were the bridge between the two worlds, and reigned this world as the representative of god.In different times, there were different names showed in the titles, which drew a vivid chart of fluctuation of the power, and enabled us to outline the main line of Egyptian political history.
