膨胀型阻燃剂APP/MA/PEPB的制备及其在ABS中的应用

摘  要: 用氧代-4-羟甲基-2,6,7-三氧杂-1-磷杂双环[2,2,2]辛烷(PEPA)作为中间产物,与苯甲酰氯反应合成了新型成炭剂苯甲酸(1-氧-2,6,7-三氧杂-1-磷双环[2.2.2]辛烷-4-基)甲酯(PEPB)。通过傅里叶变换红外光谱和氢核磁共振确定了产物的结构。与三聚氰胺(MA)和聚磷酸铵(APP)按一定比例复配成膨胀型阻燃剂用于丙烯睛-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS)的阻燃研究。结果表明,PEPB的初始分解温度为310℃,比传统成炭剂季戊四醇(PER)提高了58 C;当APP/MA/PEPB按2:1:2比例复配且添加量为30%时,阻燃效果最佳,阻燃复合材料燃烧等级达UL 94 V-0级,拉伸强度为40.15 MPa,吸水率为1.77%;与PER作为成炭剂的ABS阻燃复合材料相比,其拉伸强度提高了33.4%,吸水率下降了84.2%;复合材料燃烧后微观炭层致密无孔洞。 Acid(1-oxo-2,6,7-three oxa-1-P-bicyclo[2.2.2]octan-4-yl) methyl ester(PEPB) was synthesized from oxygen-4-(hydroxymethyl)-2,6,7-trioxa-phosphabicyclo[2,2,2]octane(PEPA)and benzoyl chloride.The structure of PEPB was confirmed by FTIR and H-NMR.PEPB,melamine(MA),and ammonium polyphosphate(APP) were mixed as an composite intumescent flame retardant system for ABS.The result showed that the initial decomposition temperature of PEPB was 310 ℃,that was increased 58℃ compared with pentaerythritol(PER) as carbonific.When the mass fraction of the intumescent system was 30%,and the mass ratios of APP:MA:PEPB were 2:1:2,the vertical burning test of ABS composites reached UL 94 V-0.The tensile strength and absorbency of the resultant composites were 40.15 MPa and 1.77%,respectively.Compared with PER,the tensile strength of the composite increased by 33.4%,and its absorbency decreased by 84.2%.The char layer microstructure was compact.
