摘　　要： 写作是一种独特的学习方式。笔者分析了写作与听、说、读的不同,并指出写作的独特性不仅仅体现在它与其他语言技能的不同,更体现在写作过程中与其他技能的相互作用及其产生的意义。 Writing is a unique mode of learning. That will be my contention in this paper. Writing serves learning uniquely because writing as process-and-product possesses a cluster of attributes that correspond uniquely to certain powerful learning strategies (Emig, 2000:69). Writing is unique not only because it is different from the other language skills, but also because during its process the other skills interact as the writing works its way towards its own meaning.
