摘　　要： 大学英语教学改革日渐深入,课程定位逐渐发生变革,专业英语需求与日俱增。大学英语教师面临教学转型,教师绩效评估体系也待改善。针对广东某高校的大学英语选修课程群,对任课教师的绩效分析发现:学校的教学改革初显成效,教师的通识教学观念与时俱进;教师专业背景较为单一,正在制约专门用途英语的教学转型;在课程设置、教师绩效评估与激励制度以及教师个人职业发展等方面仍然存在不少现实问题。 With the development of CET reformation, the course identity has changed as the social demands of ESP(English For Specific Purposes) are on the rise Faced with such a new chance and challenge, CET teachers need transformation and at the same time, teacher performance evaluation system needs improvement Targeting on the optional courses of CET at One certain Guangdong University, the case study of its teachers performance reveals that: 1 The teachers’ ideas of general education get improved with the transformation of teaching methods, 2 The development of ESP is limited with the teachers’ single disciplinary background of language and literature, 3 There are still some practical problems in course structure, teaching efficiency and performance evaluation
