摘　　要： 本文评介了George Braine于2010年出版的专著《非母语英语教师——研究、教学及职业成长》。文章首先对该书的结构和内容进行了介绍,然后从该书对非母语英语教师研究的理论和实践意义、研究方法的多样性和创新性、作者在该领域的权威地位等角度进行了评述。本文最后指出了该书的不足之处。该书的出版是对非母语教师运动和前人研究成果的全面介绍,并为非母语英语教师的职业发展提出了建议,对广大非母语英语教师和相关领域的研究者具有重要的参考价值。 This is a review of the book Nonnative Speaker English Teachers: Research, Pedagogy, and Professional Growth written by George Braine. This article gives a brief introduction to the structure and content of the book, and demonstrates its prominent features from the following perspectives: theoretical and practical implications for the NNEST research, the diversity and creativity of the research tools, and the leading position of the author in NNEST movement. The limitation of the book is also provided at the end of this review. George Braine's book makes a high-caliber, accessible, and joyful attempt which overview the existing status of the NNEST movement, and gives valuable suggestions for the professional growth of nonnative English teachers. This book will become a must-read reference for nonnative English teachers and anyone who is interested in this research field.
