摘 要: 本文对处于产业结构剧烈转型时期的中国旅游业的发展态势进行了较深入的阐述 ,这一观察主要从旅游区 (点 )和旅游资源的开发与管理这一特定角度切入 ,重点从假日峰值压力、旅游目的地营销、旅游规划、旅游产品创新。 The national tourism demand is increasing recently in ch ina. Especially after ch ina entered WTO and announced the 29th Olympic Games will be held in Beijing, th e Chinese tourism structure, administration and market will surely face changing . Therefore it is important to get experiences from researching on tourism devel opment and management over last years in china. On the basis of analyzing a larg e number of first-hand materials, the authors expounded deep into the dynamic s t ate of tourism industry during the extensive transformation of industrial struct ure in China. In the particular view of tourism resource development and adminis tration of scenic areas/spots, the authors discussed several hot issues of China tourism industry in recent years, such as the heavy pressure between tourism de mand and supply, destination marketing, tourism development planning, the innova tion of tourism products, and the supporting system for tourism development. The article include three aspects: ① Perspective of tourism demand: holiday touris m and tourism market. ② Perspective of Tourism Supply: tourism planning and tou rism product development. ③ Support System of Tourism Industry: Environmental M anagement and Policy Safeguard. Tourism development relies on favorable tourism environment and strong support of policies and regulations. According to these r esearches on Chinese tourism development and management, the authors have made s ome conclusions as follows: Firstly, Governments at all levels paid much more at tention than ever before to tourism development plan, which promote the sound de velopment and management of tourism in China. However, there lie some problems s uch as the shortage of professional human resources and standards in tourism pla n. Secondly, In the future, tourism industry will face more fierce competitions. Thus, its development relies not only on the abundant resources, but also on it s products, facilities and good service. Thirdly, In China, government plays a p rimary and active role
