摘　　要： 动产抵押后，抵押人仍然可占有并使用，动产易发生损毁，也易被转移等，造成动产抵押不安全。为了提高动产抵押的安全性，应执行严格的资产评估制度，利用商业保险以提高动产抵押的效力。 Chattel mortgage' insecurity is due to chattel's susceptibility to damage and chattel's easy transfer because the mortgagor still possesses the mortgaged chattel and can use it .To improve the security of chattel mortgage, the system of asset appraising should be strictly carried on, while chattel mortgage should be insured, and systems should be perfected including that chattel mortgage should be registered, made public and under supervision.
