摘 要: 珠三角地区广泛分布着一层全新世海侵形成的软土层。本文作者用不同长度的PVC管 ,在该软土层中进行取样 ,并在室内分别用薄样 (常规样 )和样柱进行了压缩实验。薄样的实验结果表明 ,样品的压缩量随着压力的增大而增大 ,且压缩量变化最大的区间是在 0~ 15 0KPa。为此 ,对不同长度的样柱均施加 15 1KPa荷载。结果却发现 ,样柱的总压缩量与样柱的长度呈正相关关系 ,而压缩比则呈负相关关系 ,说明压力在向下传导过程中是逐渐衰减的。 A soft-soil layer formed during the Holocene transgression is distributed broadly in the Pearl River Delta. The authors of this paper have collected the specimens from the layer with the PVC piles of different lengths. The compressive experiments are carried out respectively on the thin specimens and the soil-columns. The experiment result of the thin specimen displays that the unit settlement of soil is increased with the increase of pressure, and in between 0-150 Kpa, the unit settlement changing rapidly. Compression of the soil-columns under the pressure of 151 Kpa, however, displays that with the increasing length of the columns, the settlement increases while the compressive ratio decreases. This indicates that the compressive stress should bereduced gradually in the vertical direction of the column, which should be significant in studying the change characters of the soft-soil layer in vertical direction under a certain load.
