摘　　要： 本文运用文献资料法、统计法对 5 6～ 2 0 0 0年田径奥运获奖牌获得者 1686人和 2 0 0 0年奥运会前 8名运动员 3 3 3人年龄分布、性别、项目进行统计分析 ,得出现代高水平田径运动员年龄呈增长趋势 ,受性别、项目和社会等多种因素影响。本研究为田径运动理论和训练提供参考。 this thesis make a comparative-study of the excellence athletes, 1686 winner of medal of 56～2000 Olympic Games and 333 the top eight athletes of 2000 Olympic Games. The result: the age of track and field sports show a tendency to increase, and Influenced by many kinds of factors, such as sex, event and society, etc. it offers some helpful references for the theory and train of track and field.
