摘　　要： 台湾岛是我国最大的岛屿。它位于祖国大陆东南100多公里的海面上,东临太平洋。在地质构造上处于太平洋板块与欧亚大陆板块的缝合线上,属大陆岛性质。北回归线横过台湾岛的中徧南部,该岛又受黑潮暖流的影响,具有热带和亚热带气候特点。在内外营力的相互作用下,形成了东、西、南和北各不相同的海岸地貌类型。 Situated on the contracted belt of the Pacific Plate and the Euro-Asian Plate,the Taiwan Island is an island of continent.With the Tropic of Cancer running across the middle of the island and the influences of the Taiwan Warm Current,Taiwan has the tropical climate.Due to the endogenic and exogenic forces,the island has different landforms along its coasts in four directions:The Daitunshan volcanic coast in the north,the faulted cliff coast in the east,the Hengchun uplifted reef coast in the south and the parallel sand-spit coast in the west.
