摘　　要： 论述了图书馆服务中有些优良传统如公益性服务原则、外借阅览等基础服务以及咨询台的设立等应该得到传承和重视 ;而在服务的创新方面 ,服务竞争与服务效益观念的增强、服务领域的拓展及文化服务功能的加强尤为重要。 This paper has described two aspects of services in public library should be paid attention to.One is that the public library should still keep and pay attention to some good traditional public services such as the basic services for books lending and reading,setting up the consultant desk,the other is that the public library should make some creations on the services like building up and emphasizing the conception of service competition and service benefit,developing and strengthening the aspects of services and the functions of the culture services.
