摘　　要： 公共财政枯竭引起学费持续上涨,美国公立研究型大学开始更加关注招生管理。本文以美国三所顶尖级公立大学为例,通过访谈和电子邮件调查的方法对这三所院校招生管理的决策和模式进行比较分析,探讨他们在竞争优质生源和解决有限公共经费中的举措,以及为保持顶尖公立大学市场地位和声誉所作出的努力,希冀对我国大学招生管理的建设与发展有所启示。 With continued tuition rises due to public finance restrictions,American public research universities begin to pay more attention to student admission management. This paper, taking three top public universities as examples, through interviews and e- mail survey methods, conducted a comparative analysis on their admission decisions and models and discussed their strategies on how to attract higher quality students, deal with the limited public funds and maintain the top public university' market status and reputation. The study hoped to give some inspirations for the construction and development of Chinese university admission management.
