摘　　要： 菲利浦·拉金是当代著名诗人,1965年他因《降灵节的婚礼》而获得英国女王金质奖章。拉金喜爱传统的格律诗。他那清新朴素的诗风在当代现代派风行一时的氛围里显得格外醒目。在其诗作中,他采用口语体,甚至粗俗的俚语入诗。这不仅在形式上与格律诗形成反差效果,也是拉金本土意识和自我本真的体现。 Philip Larkin(1922-1985) is a very important poet in the 1950's. He won the Queen's Gold Medal for The Whitsun Weddings in 1965.Larkin is fond of the traditional poetic devices, iambic pentameter and rhymed stanza form. As an extraordinary poet, Larkin prefers to the solemn, serious and plain language . He also commands the colloquial diction and even slang to make his particular style. This is also the echo of his nationalism and egoism.
