摘　　要： 重庆是我国西部最大的城市,在历史上长期是我国西部的一个金融中心,应当仁不让地构建成为与西部地区经济发展相适应的区域性金融中心,借以更好地发挥金融在我国西部地区经济发展中的“第一推动力”作用。 Chongqing,as the largest city and the financial center of Western China for a long peri-od of time in history,should certainly become the regional financial center adapting to its economic development.Only in this way can it play the role of“the first driving force”to the regional eco-nomic development of Western China.
