摘　　要： 有关韩国流行音乐的研究或话语需要从城市地理的角度重新考察,尤其是首尔地区。1980年代韩国流行音乐的制作与传播,是地理性流动的。当老城区(明洞、钟路和光化门)因为国家和地区政府的(再)发展政策开始衰落的时候,不同的地点作为音乐多样性的场所开始兴起。本文关注了汝矣岛、二村洞和永东(现在的江南)一带,即所谓的汉江沿岸地带,如何作为主流流行音乐制作和传播的新中心而运作。这不仅包括各类主流音乐类型和风格的发展过程,也包含"大学歌曲"(即"校园歌曲")的收编过程,这些都由1980年开始引入的彩色电视广播大量传播。与政治当局控制流行文化的误解相反,广播电视产业虽然被当局审查,但仍以其自身的、有选择性的方式,积极投身于发展和推广音乐及其他相关娱乐。总之,本文认为,流行音乐的历史可以藉由联系自1970年代至今的城市规划的特定模式而构建。 The studies or discourses on popular music in Korea need to be reexamined from the angle of urban geography,with the focus on Seoul in particular.In the 1980 s,the production and circulation of popular music in Korea was geographically mobile in the literal sense.As the old downtown area(Myeongdong,Jongno and Gwanghwamun)began to decline due to the(re)development policy of national and local governments,different places emerged as the sites for sonic multiplicities.In this paper,I focus on the nexus that links Yeouido,Ichon and Yeongdong(now Gangnam),the so-called Han River nexus,which functioned as the new center of the production and mediation of mainstream pop music.It includes not only the process of mainstreaming of different genres and styles but also that of the co-optation of 'college song'(a.k.a.'campus song'),heavily mediated by the introduction of color TV broadcasting since 1980.Contrary to the misguided perception that the political authorities controlled popular culture,the broadcasting industry,though censored by the authorities,actively engaged in forging and promoting the music and other related entertainment in their own selective way.All in all,this paper argues that the history of popular music can be constructed in connection with the specific pattern of city planning that started in the 1970 s and continues to this day.
