摘　　要： 导致文化冲击产生的原因很多。一般来说,不同文化间价值系统的冲突往往是导致文化冲突产生的重要原因之一。个人主义-集体主义价值维度,作为霍夫斯泰德提出的五个价值维度中最重要的一条,是导致文化冲突产生的一个重要因素。因此,本文将从个人主义-集体主义价值维度下的三个层面,即个人层面、人际交往层面以及社会层面,来探究个人主义-集体主义价值维度究竟如何导致文化冲突产生。本文的研究目是帮助跨文化交际者对个人主义-集体主义价值维度有一个更深入的理解,从而有助于他们加速适应新的环境。 There are many reasons lead to culture shock.Generally speaking,the collision of value systems between two countries is a crucial reason leading to culture shock.Individualism-collectivism,being as the most important one among Hofstede’s five value dimensions,is an important factor leading to culture shock.Therefore,this paper aims to analyze how individualism-collectivism leads to culture shock,based on three sub-levels of individualism-collectivism,namely,the personal level,the interpersonal level and the societal/institutional level.The purpose of this paper is to help people who have cross-cultural communication missions have a better understanding of individualism and collectivism,so as to help them adapt to a new culture more easily and quickly.
