摘 要: 本文对SPIHT算法进行了改进 ,得到一种在编码和解码过程中都不用链表的小波零树编码方法 ,称为改进的无表零树编码 .这种编码方法大大地减少了内存消耗 ,降低了编码复杂度 ,提高了编码速度 .实验表明 ,在相同压缩比下本文算法比LZC算法提高了 0 .6 6dB ,因此为硬件实现图像压缩编码提供了一种有效的方法 . It presents a zerotree coding method for gray images that uses no lists during encoding and decoding,permitting the omission of the lists requirement in Said and Pearlman′s Set Partitioning In Hierarchial Trees (SPIHT) algorithm.Without lists,the memory requirement is reduced significantly,and the improved listless zerotree coding method enhances the coding speed by improving the zerotree coding process,and reduces the complexity in the encoding and decoding procedure.Experimental results show that the improved LZC codec increases the ratio of compression ratio at the same PSNR,so improved LZC method is an efficient method for image coding.
