摘　　要： 汉徐闻县政区包括除廉江市的雷州半岛的大部。比较了雷城镇和今徐闻县南部两地历史地理条件后认为,雷城镇宜为汉代古徐闻县治,而今徐闻县南部不宜为汉代徐闻县治。 The administrative division of Xuwen County in the Han Dynasty included the greater part of Leizhou Peninsula except Lianjiang City. Comparison is made between the historical geographical conditions of Leicheng Town and those of what is now Xuwen County. It is believed that the conditions of Leicheng Town were pretty good for establishment of Xuwen County seat in Han Dynasty, while what is now Xuwen′s Conditions were not suitable for that.
