摘　　要： 提出了一种采用固定包长形式的小波零树图像压缩算法 .该算法生成的数据包可独立解码 ,某一数据包发生错误或被丢失不影响其他的数据包 ,因此 ,该算法非常适合于在图像数据的网络传输中应用 . A zerotree wavelet image compression algorithm with a rigid package length is presented. The data package produced by the algorithm c an be decoded independently; error or missing of some data package will not affe ct other dada packages. As a result, the method is suitable for image data trans mission in the net. Finally, some experimental results are given.
