摘　　要： 随着研究的深入发展,翻译研究开始朝语篇层次拓展。衔接是构成语篇的重要条件。整个语篇翻译中,衔接起着非常重要的作用。文章从翻译的过程探讨衔接在英汉语篇翻译中所起的重要作用。 With the developmant of the translation studies,much attention has been paid to discourse translation. As a most important part of discourse, cohesion plays a vital role in discourse translation. This paper tries to discuss the importance of cohesion in English-Chinese discourse translating process.
